The ground plan of the classic "Hamburger Knochen" style of architecture was redefined – the old kitchen, the maid's room and part of the elongated hallway became the new centre of the apartment. The kitchen, in which the list of the materials used, provides a view of the variety of culinary delights produced here, and was manufactured using black steel and brass, antique oak and Belgian bluestone as well as fur and stingray leather. The industrial-looking, double-winged steel door marks the transition to the private rooms beyond, while the room-high wall panel with integrated TV unit is adjacent to the bar area with fur elements.
