saggio et luccichio

In subtle nuances from light to dark, shades of sage and the deepest midnight-blue play around a very special wall: just as the sea occasionally casts out its treasures - and we are invited to find them - our gaze is caught in this wonderful design in the seemingly endless shed of the rear furniture niche. Capiz has fallen into the pretty net here. These oyster-shaped shells are hand-coloured, cut to size and inlaid in geometric patterns to create an effect that astonishes and shines ever anew depending on the incidence of light. The same graphic structure has been scaled down and can be found in the bespoke laser-cut brass of the pocket doors on the breakfast bar. Including shimmering effects achieved by the Italian antique mirror on the pull-outs. Like a jewellery box for early birds.
